Lettuce, Apple and Cucumber Salad
Lettuce, Apple and Cucumber Salad:
Super quick and easy breakfast or snack
Ingredients:
Fresh Lettuce – 1 bunch, finely chopped
Carrot – 1 medium size, thinly sliced
Cucumber - 1 medium size, finely chopped
Apple – ½ medium size, finely chopped
Fresh onion leaves – 1 small bunch, finely chopped
Cashew nuts – ¼ tbsp, broken into smaller bits
Sunflower seeds – 1.5 tsp
Cranberry – 1/2 tsp
Raisins – 8
Mayonnaise – 3 tbsp
Fresh ground pepper – ¼ tsp
Pepper powder – ¾ tsp
Salt as per taste
Instructions:
In a big bowl add chopped apple,
lettuce, cucumber, carrots, onion leaves, raisins, cashew nuts, cranberries,
sunflower seeds, salt, pepper powder, mayonnaise and freshly ground pepper. Mix
all these ingredients well with the help of a spatula or a spoon. Make sure
that the mayonnaise has quoted the lettuce very well. If not, add some more
mayo and mix well. That’s it. Super quick and healthy lettuce salad is ready
within minutes.
Serve this salad immediately along
with a toast, omelette or as is. What can be more healthier than a green salad
filled with vitamins and minerals? It’s light on the stomach and is super
tasty. This salad can be made with varied choices of vegetables and fruits. It
