Village style Veg Thali/ Lunch menu Tamarind Gojju: Very quick and healthy gravy (Village style / Old methods/ Forgotten recipe) Ingredients:  Brinjal – 3 small size, round ones preferred  Tamarind – 1 table tennis ball size, soaked in water  Red onions – 2 small size, cubed 1/2 inch  Green chillies – 8, medium size  Mustard seeds – 1 tsp  Curry leaves – 2 sprigs  Coriander leaves – 1 small bunch for garnish  Salt as per taste  Oil for tempering  Instructions:         Coat the brinjals with oil and burn/cook them on direct fire as shown in the video. You may also use charcoal to cook the brinjal like the way we barbeque meat. When you touch the brinjal it should be soft and the outer layer will be burnt.
