Spicy and Salty Butter Popcorn
Spicy & Salty Butter Pop corn
Ingredients:
Dry
Corn – 100 gm
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chillie powder – 1/5 tbsp
Butter – 2 tbsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
Salt as per taste
Instructions:
Take a thick bottomed pan with wide
mouth. Add oil, butter and heat it. When the butter starts to melt
add turmeric powder, red chillie powder, salt and mix well. Add corn
and saute under medium flame. Keep stirring. When the corn starts to
pop, lower the flame and close the lid with a little gap to let the
steam to escape. Keep stirring so that the corns pop. In no time, the
pan will be filled with popped spicy and salty butter corns. Dish
them out into a clean dry container and
serve hot!
There will be few corns which
aren’t popped yet. Place them back on heat and stir fry. They would
start to pop. Once done, switch off the flame and serve hot. If
there are some more corns
which aren’t popped do not worry. They wouldn’t pop and will
start to burn. You may
discard them.
Hot, crispy, spicy, salty and
buttery Pop-corns are ready. You may also add additional seasonings
(salt, paprika) if required based on your preference. Pop
corns are an all time favorite among movie buffs and young kids. This

Freshly made pop corns are always
the best snack be it either while watching TV or reading books. The
crispness of these pop corns remain much longer than the store bought
pop corns. Any excess pop
corns can be packed in an air tight container and stored in a cool
